Bhaleel Shah

Bhallel Shah Thul in the district of Dadu is a piece of rectangular rock that is 26’-9” high and 27’-45” wide. The base is a construction of irregular shaped stones and bricks. The Thul is constructed primarily from Mud bricks and mortar is used for construction binding. 

History: 

There are a series of Thul’s in Sindh ranging from the Buddhist periods when they conquered the Area of Sindh and established Buddhism. These Thuls were seen as areas of worship in olden times and added to beauty of the Buddhist sanctuary that Sindh was between the 5th to 7th century Ad. The Bhaleel Shah Thul is a small engraved Worship place that has a staircase from the southern side, leading to the top of the stupa.
