Deosai plains

The word Deo means "the giant" and "Sai" means "The shadow." Thus collectively, "Deo Sai" stands for the "shadows of the giant." For long, people believed that the place was haunted. The reason served as the sole reason behind the origin of the name. The far off Deo Sai plains remained inhabited for years, and this resulted in the proliferation of the wildlife in the region. 

Thus now making this region spectacular for flora and fauna present here. Even today, Deo Sai is not much inhabited. The weather instability makes the land as much unpredictable as it should be; the gusts of the icy winds, the hide and seek of the clouds, and the bright sunlight shining and then being overcast truly makes the mystic land worth seeing.
