Gulmit is a small yet beautiful town in Upper Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan. This small town attracts thousands of local and international tourists due to its breathtaking beauty that consists of green mountains, lush green fields, and historical buildings. Gulmit is an old historic town and can be tracked almost six to seven centuries back. When Hunza was a state, Gulmit was declared the summer capital of the state. It is because of its pleasant weather that remains enjoyable throughout the year. It has lush green mountains, peaks, and glaciers.
