Kharpocho Fort

Kharpocho Fort or Skardu Fort is located in Skardu city in Gilgit Baltistan. The Fort is famous as "The King of Forts" in the region of Pakistan. Kharpocho Fort stands above the synapse, which dominates the view of rocks of Skardu.

Kharpocho fort is a Great Symbol for the Anchan Era, as it was once ruled by the Anchan Rulers, who governed from Baltistan to Chitral with strict control. The Fort is considered as one of the oldest, which has been built centuries ago by the military general Rmakpon Bogha, the then ruler of Skardu.
