Mazar-e-Quaid

Mazar-e-Quaid, also recognised as Jinnah Mausoleum, is the last resting place of Quaid-e-Azam ("Great Leader") Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. It was designed in the 1960s in modernising the style. It was finished in 1971 and is an iconic representation of Karachi as well as one of the most attractive tourist sites in the city. The mausoleum complex also includes the tomb of Jinnah's sister Fatima Jinnah, Liaquat Ali Khan and Nurul Amin. The tomb where lies Sardar Abdur Rab Nishtar, a brave leader of the Muslim League from Peshawar also resides there.
