After earning his Master of Fine Arts in painting from College of Art and Design Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan, in 1994, he, unfortunately, was not able to continue painting as a profession. Thus, he pursued a career in multimedia productions. Yet he could not deny the fact that the beauty, colours, and fascinating culture of Pakistan continued to inspire him. Being an artist, he decided to use his camera as a tool and started capturing his inspiration through photography. He has spent his whole life in cultural, landscape, heritage, commercial and experimental photography and proved himself the best. It was his passion to add the name Pakistan in the list of Google trusted photographers program. Now he is proudly representing himself as Google trusted and certified Photographer in Pakistan.

  • Aesthetic use of light, technical skills, fertile imagination and artistic perception are the prerequisites for the creation of immortal image, Gulraiz exploits all the basic principles of art-proportion, rhythm, balance, contras, light and lively tones of colours – in his photography. “Creative photography demands the sort of talent that was once used only in painting & writing,” says Gulraiz. A good image is the candid reflection of photographer’s inner-self. Gulraiz always uses photography to express himself. We can have the taste of painting out of his living photographs. “God has bestowed northern areas of Pakistan with ultimate diversity of natural beauty and I have devoted myself to expose it,” vows Ghouri. Natural Beauty seems to be his love, his ultimate passion, his only devotion.
